ON October 24th, 2013, Dr. Megan Harris and technician, Sarah Clifton, gave an interactive tour of Risinger Veterinary Hospital to a local home-school group. The younger group (pictured above) preformed surgery on their own stuffed animals while the older group (seen below) learned about digital radiography, laser therapy and large animal restraint. Both groups also listened to a dog’s heart, learned the importance of heartworm prevention, saw an urinary bladder on ultrasound, and viewed various radiographs demostrating different disease processes.
